Awai Cheung
Awai Cheung was born in 1968 in Germany, of a family from Hong Kong and is a master of the Asian martial arts (Judo, Tae Kwon Do or Kung Fu), which led him to experience in his own body how to generate mental energies, successfully handle requirements, preserve his health effectively and find more composure in everyday working life. To this day his motto is: “Whoever practices Tai Chi and Qigong remains supple as a newborn child, powerful as a lumberjack and calm as a wise man”.
Dr. Jutta Semler, Chairwoman of Urania and the Kuratorium Knochengesundheit e.V., gave him the impetus to found a mobile seminar centre for Asian kinetics. The unique idea of offering business Qigong events throughout Germany (and nowadays even worldwide) was born. Awai Cheung conceived innovative programs for health well-being in enterprises and companies on the basis of traditional Qigong, which is particularly tailored to managers and executives with regard to concentration, memory, communication, respiration and body consciousness. The name Awai Cheung stands for an innovation within the range of effective health precaution with regard to health management in enterprises.
Awai Cheung is a speaker and has a teaching assignment at the DGUV University, Bad Hersfeld. He has published several books and DVDs. For more than 30 years he has been inspiring tens of thousands of people who want to become even healthier and more confident. Among them are politicians, actors and celebrities. ARD, ZDF, N-TV, N24, Focus, Die Welt, Manager Magazine, Wirtschaftswoche etc. have reported on him. Awai Cheung knows how to inspire and motivate his listeners with humour, charm and esprit. The participants of his events receive exercises which are proven to be suitable for everyday use and immediate success. Well-known companies from all sectors such as Die Bahn, Deutsche Bank, KPMG, Bayer, Total, Microsoft, IKK BB, Hapag Lloyd Cruises and many more book him for executive and employee events and health days. The German Bundestag has also been able to convince itself of his skills several times.
